Beach Days with Baby
We are getting ready to head to the Florida beaches in early June and I wanted to share some of the things we love to bring for our baby + kids! Going to the beach with a baby is so much fun! They get to experience so many new things and we get to make amazing memories with them. Along with that, bringing a baby to the beach means being prepared and bringing a fair amount of “stuff”… even when trying to pack light. I’m going to share some of our faves that help us feel a bit more prepared! Much of this we have used long before now, and some is new!
to keep PROTECTED
TO KEEP HYDRATED
BABY STRAW CUP- This is one of our favorites! It’s easy for babies to hold and perfect for those who have learned to drink through a straw
KIDS WATER BOTTLE - We love this for our older kids, as it keeps their drinks colder longer
CERES CHILL- Perfect to bring if transporting breastmilk/formula being kept cold or for pumping while you’re out and needing to chill milk for use throughout the day! See all my info about the Ceres Chill milk pitcher HERE (link to highlight)
COOLER- This fits at the bottom of your bag and can fit 10 cans or quite a few bottles for baby!
FORMULA STACKER- This is perfect for formula powder divided feedings on the go, or can be used for snacks too!
BOTTLES- Whichever brand you prefer, make sure you bring some for while you’re out— baby HAS to stay hydrated and breastmilk and/or formula is the main source of nutrition until age 1
TO KEEP COOL
STROLLER FAN- I love this fan always and forever! So many uses aside from just the stroller. Bring it to the beach and keep it in the playpen with baby, or bring it out when you’re nursing in the beach chair!
MISTER- Just another way to keep cool!

BABY BEACH TOYS- Depending on their age, a few toys for baby can be fun. Sometimes even just holding/chewing on some things will keep them happy!
TO SNACK
SNACK SPINNER- We absolutely love this spinner. Our toddler and older kids get the most joy out of it, but it holds snacks for little ones perfectly too!
SNACKLE BOX- This is what we use for snacks/sandwich strips/fruit/etc for games with the kids, but think it’s perfect for a beach day too!
BASICS
POUCH FOR DIAPERS/WIPES— Keeping it all together!
SWIM DIAPERS— A must for babies. But remember, it doesn’t hold pee— only poop! (DISPOSABLE | REUSABLE)
TO CLEAN
WET BAG— If anything wet needs transported home, or you change your baby before getting them in the carseat to go home— put the wet suit here!
SANDSCREEN SAND REMOVER— Takes sand off in a few swipes!
