The Best Nursing/Pumping Bras

As soon as we get in nesting mode during pregnancy, we begin wondering what the “best” or “most comfortable” nursing/pumping bra is. We know we need it, but want to be comfortable. It’s hard to know what would work best for us, especially with every brand stating that theirs is better than the next. Many women also struggle with finding what works related to sizing in bras. Many women with larger-sized chests reached out to see if I could get some intel about the best nursing + pumping bras for bustier chested mamas, so I made it my mission! We all deserve to feel comfortable and supported while caring for our babies!

Luckily, we have an amazing community of mamas in various stages of pregnancy + postpartum, made of all different shapes and sizes— and they voted on their absolute faves! These women have scoured the internet, tried multiple kinds to really find what is the most comfortable, while still getting the job done! With this, I compiled a list of the KFP community’s favorite nursing + pumping bras and will categorize them by small/medium + large/busty chest sizes! Plus, I will list them in shop-able links below. I hope this helps!

  • Auden Seamless Bra- Sizes 34B-40D

    • Many mamas are currently loving the Auden Seamless bra from Target— it accommodates sizes 34B-40D. It is seamless with no underwire, unclasps for breastfeeding access, and has sewn in cups so they do not move around! I also have this one and it’s comfy and affordable, while offering me just enough support. It also doesn’t give “uniboob” because of the separate sewn in cups

  • Bravado! Designs Body Silk Seamless Bra-* - Sizes A-F

    • This one is a huge favorite, with over 2,800 5-star reviews on amazon and many kudos from our Karing for Postpartum community! This bra ranges from sizes A-F and comes in multiple different colors. It’s seamless + wireless, and has removable cups as well. This bra is known for having a soft and smooth silhouette that doesn’t show those dreaded “bra lines” under clothes. It has a clasp closure for easy breastfeeding access and gives the girls a nice gentle “hug” without offering compression.

  • Kindred Bravely Simply Sublime Nursing Bra- Sizes B-I

    • Another crowd pleaser! This bra touts being the absolute best + most size accommodating (which many of you agree with!). Wireless, seamless, clasps for easy breastfeeding access, with removable cups— this bra is versatile and supportive! Also works great for wearable pumps. Ranges from sizes B-I! I really love this one!

  • HOFISH Nursing Bra 3 pack with extenders and clips- Sizes up to 2XL

    • These bras are an Amazon gem! I personally love that they have built in side extender panels so that the bra can accommodate our fluctuating breast size. That speaks volumes! It also comes as a 3 pack and comes with extra extenders and clips. Actually recognizing our body changes postpartum— which makes me so happy! Aside from that— the bra is seamless, wireless, has removable cups, is accessible with clasp closure, breathable, and has over 23,000 4.5-star reviews on Amazon! Many women exclaiming that they’re great for both small and larger chests! Plus, as a 3 pack for $30, you’re getting each bra for about $10.

  • Amazon Ribbed Nursing Bras- Sizes S-5XL

    • These come in a 5 pack for $35! I delivered Blake in this bra. It’s incredibly comfortable and supportive, clasp down to nurse. It has removable pads so you can choose whether or not you want padding. These are super comfy for sleep too and saved me early postpartum!

  • Amazon Seamless Nursing Bra- Sizes S-2XL

    • This bra is more “full coverage” t-shirt bra. It is seamless, wireless, super comfortable with high side panels and thicker shoulder straps for extra support. It comes with an extender as well and some pretty colors!

  • Pepper Nursing Bra- Sizes AA-B cups

    • This bra was highly recommended from a bunch of you for smaller chests. Just as much as it can be hard to find good bras for larger busts, the same issue can come up with smaller busts (cup gaps, uncomfortable, etc). This one is lightly padded, not bulky, comfortable, and fits smaller busts with clasp down for nursing

  • Momanda Lace Nursing Bra- Sizes A-E

    • This bra is gorgeous! Sizes A-E cups. Looks beautiful, but does give a little lift as well! It’s a “bralette'“ style with some lace trim- so cute! I actually heard about this bra from this community, purchased for myself, and love it!

  • Momcozy Nursing Bra- Sizes S-3XL

    • This scallop detail is so fun! It’s really comfortable, but not completely “blah”. Looks cute peaking out of a tank or lower cut shirt. It’s seamless and wireless, yet supportive and comfortable. I can easily sleep in this one also! It comes with a back strap extender, cups are partially sewn to prevent losing them with washing.

  • Kindred Bravely Wire-Free Crossover Maternity/Nursing Bra- Sizes S-1X (in busty sizing too!)

    • This one is a good sleep-in or wear-around-the-house-comfortably bra. It’s ribbed + soft, the band offers some support if needed, but it is really good at helping you feel that “bra-less” feeling! Easy nursing access with the crossover front and can be worn comfortable while adjusting to fluctuating breast size while pregnant as well.

  • Auden Yoga Bra- S-XL

    • This one is great for active mamas! Ranges from sizes S-XL. It has removable cups, is wireless, offers support, and has a racerback back for added support. This also really helps with keeping wearable pumps in place, like the Willow or Elvie.

  • Larken-X Nursing Bra- Sizes up to 2XL

    • This bra is incredible comfortable and easy to nurse in! You just pull to the side and nurse while the other side stays covered. You can pull the fabric to make an “X” shape to pump as well. It’s not my favorite for pumping, as I feel like it gets loose as bottles fill with milk, but it works in a pinch. Love for nursing and pumping!

  • Bodily Effortless Bra- Sizes S-XL

    • This bra is one of the most comfortable bras I own! I wore this tons when I was triple feeding Blake and had damaged nipples! You just pull to the side to nurse (KARRIEL10 should work). It is also amazing for sleep.

Pumping Bras For Small/Medium Chests:

  • Kindred Bravely Sublime Nursing/Pumping Bra- Sizes up to 2X, B-H cup

    • This is the bra I am wearing in the photo! I love it because it works so well as both a nursing and hands-free pumping bra. It has 2 clasps (1 for pumping fabric if wanting to pump, and 1 for the nursing fabric if wanting to nurse!). I have gotten so much use out of this one! I will say it is pretty supportive, so a bit more bulky with the 2 fabric layers (not my fave for sleep).

  • Davin + Adley Pumping Cami- Sizes up to 3X busty

    • This is really nice for pumping! It’s a cropped cami style with a beautiful lace detail on back. It holds pump flanges in place well! I don’t love for nursing, as it doesn’t clasp down and felt like the slide down strap feature can be hard in a rush. However, it’s incredible for pumping (and has potential for nursing) and holds flanges in place really well. It fit the Pumpables GA shields rather well too, which is a bonus! It does not have padding, lightly lined

  • Simple Wishes Hands-Free Signature Pumping Bra- Sizes A-H

    • Many of you have kindly sent me this recommendation for smaller chested mamas (but the site reviews share it works for many larger chested too!). Many of you stated this one was comfortable but still kept the pump flanges in place. Plus it works with nursing and many different brands of pump! It has fixed padding, silky fabric, and a double clasp so you can choose to nurse OR pump!

  • Momcozy Hands-Free Pumping and Nursing Bra*- Sizes S-XL Plus

    • GUYS- this is a 2 in 1! You can pump hands free, and/or nurse with this bra. That means— no having to change bras out to pump at work and then nurse at home! Game changer and time saver! It’s rated 4.2 out of 5 stars on with over 27,000 reviews on amazon! There are tons of testimonials there as well! It fits most pump brands, has the clasp closure, and the ability to adjust the straps. I have and love this one!

  • Bodily “Do Anything” Bra- Sizes S-XL

    • I love this bra for nighttime nursing and/or pumping because it doesn’t have tons of thick fabric and is actually comfortable/breathable/easy to sleep in. I wore this one at night while triple feeding because it didn’t rub on my damaged nipples! It’s not the most supportive, but comfort is key at night!

  • Kindred Bravely “Busty” Simply Sublime Nursing Bra- Sizes B-I cups

    • voted most supportive— This is still one of the most recommended bras by the KFP community of larger chested mamas! It accommodates sizes 30 F-44 I as part of their “busty” sizing! They made their busty line with wider straps and expanded cup fabric for additional support and coverage. It has the clasp closure for easy nursing access, is soft yet supportive, and offers removable cups for comfort and coverage (nips!). This is definitely one of the crowd faves for larger chested women!

  • Panache Katherine Bra- Sizes DD-J.

    • Said to be incredibly supportive and no “spillage”. Also said to be great with options for small chest, large bust!

  • Motherhood Maternity Seamless Clip-Down Nursing Bra- sizes to 2XL

    • This was another fave from the KFP community! Many of you mamas said you love this one because it offers medium support, but is still soft/doesn’t feel like it’s “compressing” your chest. It has the clip down for easy access, seamless, wireless, and full coverage and lightly lined.

  • Bravado Designs Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra*- Sizes A-F with plus sizes available

    • A fair amount of larger chested mamas in the KFP community recommended this one, though say it does tend to run small. This bra has 4.3 out of 5 starts with thousands of reviews on amazon. It’s said to be “not too tight/compressing” and washes well. Bravado nursing bras are very popular brand for plus-size mamas who aren’t super busty as well!

  • HOFISH Nursing Bra 3 pack- sizes up to 2XL

    • MANY members of this community claim these are soft, have good cup sizes, don’t cause “spillage”— said to be more of a “t shirt bra” and more for comfort than “going out”.

  • Momcozy Scalloped Nursing Bra - Sizes S-3XL

    • This bra has a fun scallop detail, is seamless and wireless, partially attached cups, and feels like the perfect smooth t-shirt bra! It helps shape and support and many of the moms in this community love wearing this one out because it’s cute and doesn’t give a “uniboob” look!

  • Gratlin Full Support Comfort Plus Size Cotton Nursing Bra*- Sizes 32A-48E; This one is said to be great for plus size mamas who may not be extra busty

    • This bra has a racerback back for more support, front clips with wider straps for extra support and no “digging in”, also has a band below the bust instead of wire! Super comfortable and supportive, material is a bit thinner than KB bras.

  • Cake Maternity Ribbon Candy Wire Free Nursing Bra- Sizes G-K

    • This bra is incredible for bustier ladies, ranging from G-K cups. These are said to work very well for larger cup, smaller band sizes (can go XS-XXL)! Easy to use drop down clips for quick accessibility, comfort, support, and stretches with a growing bust!

pretty/doesn’t “look” like a nursing bra

  • Elomi Side Support Nursing Bra- Sizes F-O

    • This bra is made sizes F-O in black and pink with beautiful lace detail, offering extreme support + coverage where it’s needed, but doesn’t “look” like your typical nursing bra. Some moms said it was a little thin and they needed nursing pads when wearing it

  • Le Mystere Mama Mia Nursing Bra- Sizes 32D-38G

    • This bra is another great option for small band size, large bust/cup size. Band sizes run from 32-38 and cup sizes C-G. This is one that many of the KFP mamas said didn’t give them “uniboob” and lifted their breasts separately. Many said this was one of the only “sexy” nursing bras they had!

  • Elomi Molly Stretch Lace Nursing Bra- . Sizes up to 44K

    • This bra is said to be one of the most supportive by this community when looking for bustier sizes, but they liked it still looks pretty. It does have underwire in this bra, which for some is necessary or better for support.

  • Dairy Fairy “Rose” Nursing and Pumping Bra- Sizes A-H

    • This bra is incredible for nursing and pumping mothers. It’s comfortable, supportive and cute. The band is sturdy, but the material is a bit thinner and silky, which some people may love for comfort and some may not.

  • Davin + Adley Nursing/Pumping Cami- Sizes S-3X Busty

    • This fits both plus and busty sizes and has a pretty lace detail; it’s a crop cami style and works for both nursing and pumping

best for night/sleep

  • Kindred Bravely French Terry Racerback Nursing Sleep Bra- Sizes 30E-44I

    • Many of you stated that this one was great, especially if you have have a smaller ribcage, but large bust. The band stays put and doesn’t slide easily, plus it offers a comfortable amount of support to sleep in and wake up for midnight nursing sessions. No clips to pull down, just pull the easy access bra to the side!

  • Bodily Everything Bra- Sizes up to XL

    • voted most comfortable; not the most supportive, but comfortable and easy to sleep in!

  • Larken X Nursing and Pumping Bra- Sizes up to 2XL

    • incredibly comfortable, easy access, great for sleep, allows for nursing and pumping, not very supportive

  • Kindred Bravely Sublime Busty Nursing and Hands Free Pumping Bra- Sizes F-I and busty line.

    • This hands free pumping bra has been raved about by the KFP community! Many of you stated that this is the only pumping bra that actually worked for you! It offers plenty of support for a bustier chest, so you’re still able to pump hands free and not have to change out your bra to pump with it. It is universal, working for most brands of pump.

  • Momcozy Hands-Free Pumping and Nursing Bra- Sizes 30A to 42G

    • This is a 2-in-1 hands free pumping AND nursing bra. This is incredible, as you wouldn’t have to change into a pumping bra when pumping at work. You can wear this one at home and at work to serve all of the necessary purposes! Convenience matters, especially in a busy workplace.

  • Momcozy Mesh Nursing and Pumping Bra- Sizes C-H cup and plus size

    • This is said to be a good choice for wearable pumps, too! Sizes C-H cup and plus size options! Soft and stretchy, mesh helps with “holding everything in”.

  • Davin + Adley Nursing/Pumping Cami- Sizes up to 3X Busty

    • This bralette is really nice for pumping! Works well for pumps with flanges as well as wearable pumps. This can be used for nursing too, but for me (smaller chest) it’s nursing friendly mechanism isn’t my favorite. It holds pump flanges in place so well without slipping forward!

  • Dairy Fairy “Pippa” Pumping Bra- Sizes A-J

    • This bra is gorgeous, sexy, and works so well for busty mamas who need to pump!

  • Dairy Fairy “Pippa” PLUS Pumping Bra- Sizes A-J

    • same as above in plus sizes!

  • Larken X nursing and pumping bra- Sizes up to 2XL

    • This bra doesn’t offer tons of support, but fits different size busts well, goes up to 2X, and allows for both nursing and pumping
